Jamie LeBlanc

Sackville’s Jamie Leblanc, a member of the Sackville Community Concert Band, the Sackville Community Youth Band, Sackville High School Band, and most other bands in the area, is one of only two Nova Scotians chosen this year to perform with the Canadian National Youth Band. Jamie will travel to Regina, Saskatchewan in May where he will rehearse intensively for the first week with the National Youth Band and then will perform in concerts at Saskatoon and Prince Albert on the 12th May, Yorkton on the 13th, and the grand finale performance on the 14th May in Regina.

Jamie’s recognition as an outstanding trumpet player is no small achievement. He auditioned against sixteen trumpet players from across Canada and was one of the few chosen to represent Canada at this annual event. Congratulations, Jamie, and thank you for representing your community so well.
