Carollyn Harvey is a founding member and Director of the Sackville Community Development
Association(SCDA). She has pursued it's aim of "making Sackville a better place to live" with determination and
tireless effort. She has been an inspiration to other members of the community and has, through her leadership skills, inexhaustible drive, and commitment to serve, enabled community spirit to flourish and profile to soar. She served as a member of the Sackville Millennium Steering Committee, co-chair of the annual Canada Day Committee, chair of the Patriot Days Parade Committee, and organized a multitude
of other functions and activities to ensure the success of the association's efforts. She is a key player in fundraising activities and has organized and produced Canada Day Citizenship Court receptions.
Carollyn has set a stellar example to members of the Sackville community. In addition to her work with the Sackville Community Development Association, she served on the Northwood "Crossroads" Day Care Committee, is an active member of Friends of First Lake, the Sackville Rivers Association, Sackville Heritage Society, Fultz Corner Restoration Society, and Riverside Estates Residents Association. She is a strong proponent and active participant in community efforts to develop a Second Lake Regional Park, and is a founding Director of the Second Lake Regional Park Association. She is a committed member of her church and her church choir and is a past member of the Caudle Park Parent Teachers Association. She lives in Lower Sackville with her husband Bob and their three daughters, son and three grandsons.
